The Joy of Saving Lives - Pixel Shares Pet Portrait Happy Endings

MOSTLY Wordless Wednesday, but the following words must be said.
As you all know, Mommy volunteers each week and takes pet portraits for our local shelter. This week has been amazing successful in finding homes for all these beautiful shelter pets. The power of social media and networking illustrated here. These portraits were all taken less than two weeks ago and most of these were taken on Saturday, Sept 22!!
He and his two siblings were adopted separately in ONE DAY!

The last of the 3 pup siblings to be adopted.

Has a new loving Mommy to care for her.

His leg will heal well in his new forever home.

Has a new kitty sibling and they love cuddling together.

My family is fostering him! He's so sweet!

My Mommy loved him extra and worked tirelessly to find him a home.

She now has a great family with 3 kids to love her.

Found by her owners thanks to the portrait and social networking.
Her new Mommy fell in love the minute she saw her.

One of the 3 siblings who only had days to be adopted. She'll be loved forever now!

Lots of love and sharing his photos saved him just today!!
If you think sharing shelter pet photos does not help...think again. Social networking, sharing and volunteering really saves lives. We are so happy!!!
Please visit my friends pet blogs on this Wordless Wednesday for many wonderful photos.

  7. OMG...those photos are fantastic! It's fabulous that your mom is helping these sweet dogs find a family of their own. I'm a rescue dog myself and my heart melts as I look at those photos.

BTW, Pixel, I hope you're doing better. Please give us an update when you have time. In the meantime, I'll keep sending healing juju your way :)

    Love,
    Tootsie
